Located on the edge of the Lake District National Park, Furness College is a vibrant, innovative and fast-paced FE College, benefiting from strong partnerships with local employers and universities. We offer an extensive range of courses with a particular emphasis on technical learning, apprenticeships and Higher Education, in addition to the broadest A’ level offer in Cumbria.

Lecturer in Fabrication & Welding / Sheet Metal

We currently have full-time vacancy within our Fabrication & Welding/Sheet Metal team.

The role would be delivering up to Level 3 to a combination of full-time students and apprentices, in both a classroom and workshop environment

Whilst you may not be an experience or qualified teacher, we are looking for candidates who have a wealth of industry experience, who are time served or with the equivalent level of qualifications and experience in order to guide and educate the next generation.

Salary: £28,718- £43,665 per annum (dependent on experience/qualifications)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Tenure: Permanent

Annual Leave: 42 days, plus bank holidays and Christmas closure period

Closing Date: 3rd of July

Interview Date: TBC
