Located on the edge of the Lake District National Park, Furness College is a vibrant, innovative and fast-paced FE College, benefiting from strong partnerships with local employers and universities. We offer an extensive range of courses with a particular emphasis on technical learning, apprenticeships and Higher Education, in addition to the broadest A’ level offer in Cumbria.

We are looking for a Technician to join our Art team to provide support within the curriculum, assisting in practical classes and preparing resources and equipment necessary for the day-to-day activities of the department. This includes, but is not limited to: caring for, storing, and dismantling teaching materials and equipment following set procedures for security and safety, ordering and replenishing stock, etc. For a full list of tasks and responsibilities, please see the attached Job Description and Person Specification.

Hours: 9.25 hours per week (38 working weeks)

Tenure: Fixed term (Up to one year)

Annual Leave: N/A

Closing Date: Friday the 4th of July

Interview Date: TBC
