We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our Service Department team based at our head office premises in Askam-In-Furness. Joining our well-established family business, who provide automotive services to clients across the North, we promote operational excellence and always seek to improve our workshop facilities to meet the demand of the ever-evolving automotive industry.
Our service department operates a fully equipped workshop undertaking service, repair, maintenance and MOTs to a variety of cars, vans, light and heavy commercial vehicles. This role may also suit an experienced vehicle mechanic looking to progress into a HGV technician role.
Full Time - 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday (no overtime or on-call requirement)
Location - Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections on HGVs to identify any faults or defects. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and perform repairs as necessary. Carry out servicing and preventative maintenance tasks according to manufacturer guidelines. Provide assistance and support to other members of the workshop team as required.
