We are recruiting for Driver’s Mate with immediate start! We are a nationwide two-person home delivery company specialising in furniture and garden items. Our drivers are ambassadors for our clients, delivering to our customers’ room of choice. This is a customer facing role so the candidate will need a neat and clean appearance – and a great can-do attitude to go along with it. Our delivery service runs across 7 days so flexibility is a must.
Duties include:
- Filling in paperwork
- Calling customers before delivery
- Speaking to customers/clients and office team if any queries
- Able to lift heavy items
- Experience of using PDA would be a bonus
This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering and carrying of heavy packages. You will need a can-do attitude and a good deal of patience along with a winning way with people from all walks of life. We focus on full white glove service including assembly of furniture items such as wardrobes and installations of washing machines.
