CompanyFunNTail is a UK peer-to-peer pet care marketplace connecting pet owners with trusted, vetted local sitters for dog walking, drop-in visits, and daily check-ins. Built entirely by a solo technical founder — two Flutter apps live on iOS at the moment, real-time chat, Stripe Connect payments, shift-based scheduling, photo check-ins, and a full review system. We launch June 29th with users already waiting.

The Role: Co-Founder — Business & Growth (Equity, Full-Time)

The product is built and live. We need the other half of the company: someone who owns growth, partnerships, and operations with the same intensity the platform was built with. This is a ground-floor opportunity to co-own something real that already works.

You will own:

  • Sitter and owner acquisition — on the ground, in Facebook groups, at community events, everywhere
  • Partnerships with vet clinics, groomers, pet shops, and local pet businesses
  • Growth marketing and brand building across social and digital channels
  • Representing FunNTail at pitch events, press opportunities, and community outreach
  • Business strategy and commercial decisions as a true co-founder, not an employee

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in sales, growth marketing, or operations — ideally in a startup or marketplace
  • Self-starter who thrives without a playbook and moves fast
  • Strong communicator who can sell the FunNTail vision to sitters, owners, partners, and eventually investors
  • Understanding of marketplace or consumer app businesses, or a hunger to learn fast
  • Based in the UK
  • Genuinely loves animals — this matters

Compensation: Equity: 20–30% depending on experience, 4-year vesting with a 1-year cliff. No fixed salary at this stage — this is an early bet on something already built and launching now.
