We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Finance Director to lead and strengthen the company’s finance function. Reporting to the CFO, the Finance Director will oversee financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, statutory compliance, treasury, internal controls, and finance operations. The successful candidate will act as a strategic finance partner to the CFO and senior management team, providing financial insights, governance, and operational support to drive business performance, sustainable growth, and sound decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the CFO in financial strategy, planning, governance, and business decision‑making.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, tax, audit, and internal policies.
  • Strengthen internal controls, finance processes, approval workflows, and risk management practices.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury matters, and banking relationships.
  • Partner with senior management and business teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the finance team.
  • Drive finance process improvement, system enhancement, and automation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualifications such as CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • At least 12 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
  • Strong experience in financial planning and analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax, audit, treasury, compliance, and internal controls.
  • Proven experience leading finance teams and working with CFOs or senior management.
  • Strong business partnering, analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in a regional, multi‑entity, technology, gaming, digital, consumer, or high‑growth business environment is advantageous.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, sound judgement, and attention to detail.
