  • Minimum commitment of one Saturday & Sunday in every 4 week period.
  • Shifts can be worked one weekend consecutively or across different weekends.

This flexibility makes the role particularly suitable for students or individuals with other work or daytime commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responding to out-of-hours calls when required.
  • Bringing the deceased into our care with dignity and respect.
  • Supporting families in a calm, compassionate, and professional manner.
  • Driving company vehicles (full UK licence required).
  • Ensuring all procedures are carried out sensitively and in line with company standards.

What We Offer

  • Standby payment: £35.39 per night (paid whether called out or not).
  • Plus a Removal fee: £38.00 per call-out attended.
  • Comprehensive training for all our roles and opportunities to achieve industry recognised qualifications.
  • Full uniform.
  • Opportunities to work within the local community.

    • Christmas vouchers.
    • Cycle to Work Scheme.
    • Eye care.
    • Refer a friend scheme.

About You

  • Is calm, dependable, and able to respond promptly when on call.
  • Has a caring and respectful approach to sensitive situations.
  • Can work independently during overnight hours.
  • Holds a full UK manual driving licence.
