The Opportunity Based at James Brown & Sons Funeral Directors - Belfast, our Funeral Arrangers are a very special part of our team; caring and organised they offer a warm welcome, and guide our families through the whole funeral process.

They couple their incredible interpersonal and listening skills, with an eye for detail and accurate administrative skills.

As well as supporting families in making funeral arrangements, Funeral Arrangers are responsible for ensuring all the relevant paperwork and documentation is completed accurately, and on time.

They are also responsible for providing a detailed handover to the Funeral Director, in order that every little detail goes to plan on the day.

This is a mobile role covering sickness and holiday absences across up to 15 branches.

You will be paid mileage from your base branch at 45p per mile.

Your weekly schedule will usually be provided in advance; however, due to the nature of the role, there may be occasions where you are required to move locations at short notice.

You will sometimes work independently and at other times as part of a team, depending on the needs of each branch.

Our Funeral Arrangers have an important role within the community, building strong working relationships as well as organising fundraising activities to support organisations in the local community.
