As well as supporting families in making funeral arrangements, Funeral Arrangers are responsible for ensuring all paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and on time. They provide a detailed handover to the Funeral Director and build strong working relationships, organising fundraising activities to support local community organisations. This mobile role serves the Henry Ison & Sons branches in the Coventry area: Binley Road, Allesley Old Road, Daventry Road, Kenilworth, Leamington‑Spa and Bulkington. A Funeral Arranger can make a real difference to families during a difficult time.
Responsibilities
- Support families in making funeral arrangements.
- Ensure all paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Provide a detailed handover to the Funeral Director.
- Build strong working relationships and organise fundraising activities with local community organisations.
- Cover the Coventry area as a mobile role (full driving licence and own transport required).
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the funeral industry is an asset but not mandatory.
