The Opportunity

  • You are not required to remain on site – simply be available to attend when needed

This flexibility makes the role particularly suitable for students or individuals with other work or daytime commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responding to out-of-hours calls when required
  • Bringing the deceased into our care with dignity and respect
  • Supporting families in a calm, compassionate, and professional manner
  • Driving company vehicles (full UK licence required)
  • Ensuring all procedures are carried out sensitively and in line with company standards

What We Offer

  • Standby payment: £28.30 per night (paid whether called out or not)
  • Equivalent to £141.50 per full 5-shift week
  • Plus a Removal fee: £38.00 per call-out attended
