A calm and professional Funeral Operative is often the first team member to meet families. They provide reassurance and look after the deceased, working in mortuary, fitting coffins, dressing the deceased, participating in funeral services, pallbearing, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Responsibilities:
  • Meet families and provide reassurance.
  • Work in the mortuary: fitting coffins, dressing the deceased.
  • Participate in funeral services as required.
  • Ensure services run smoothly.
  • Drive company vehicles (manual driving licence required).
  • Take part in out‑of‑hours and on‑call rota (additional payments available).
