G & M Goold Funeral Directors in Chester are seeking a casual Funeral Service Operative. Hours are flexible and can be scheduled around other commitments. The role includes driving company vehicles, participating in on‑call rota duties, and earning additional payment for out‑of‑hours work.
Responsibilities
- Provide a calm, professional first point of contact for grieving families.
- Assist in the mortuary: fitting coffins, dressing the deceased, and preparing the body for service.
- Support funeral services, including pallbearing and ensuring all arrangements run smoothly.
- Drive company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence.
