As our Markets and Placements Manager, Trade & Invoice Finance you will own the lender-side of the desk. You'll sit between our Deal Teams and a curated panel of specialist funders - knowing each lender's live appetite, structuring submissions that land, and making sure only clean, well-packaged cases reach our operations team. You will also be expected to grow the Lender panel through targeted and strategic acquisition. This is a high-autonomy role at the centre of a growing business, with genuine scope to shape the team around you.

Responsibilities

  • Lender Relationship Management: Own and develop FundOnion's panel of Invoice Finance and Trade Finance specialist lenders, building deep relationships with underwriters and BDMs.
  • Deal Structuring: Review incoming opportunities from Deal Teams and assess fit against the lender panel before a case goes live.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with the Deals team to upskill the desk on Invoice Finance & Trade Finance lender nuances.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • 2+ years' experience in Financial Services.
  • Presentable, analytically minded, and comfortable with financial concepts.
  • A background in customer success, account management, or relationship management.

  • Monthly Quote Conversion Bonus - rewarding the quality and volume of successfully placed deals.
