Fundment is a high-growth adviser platform entering an exciting new phase of scale. We are seeking a motivated and commercially aware Management Accountant with 1–2 years post-qualification experience, to join our finance team in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business decision-making. This role is ideal for a recently qualified accountant looking to develop strong commercial and analytical skills within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the multi-entity, multi-currency month-end close and consolidation process across the UK, US, and Ireland.
  • Review accurate and timely management accounts and financial reports in line with applicable accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Oversight
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, working closely with the CASS and Compliance teams.
  • Support the preparation of financial information required for regulatory reporting.
  • Assist with providing information requested by external auditors and regulators.
  • Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis
  • Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Analyse financial performance against budget and forecast, providing variance analysis and commentary.
  • Controls, Processes & Systems
  • Support the maintenance of robust internal controls and financial processes.
  • Assist in documenting finance processes and ensuring best practice is followed.
  • Accounts Payable, Expenses & Finance Operations
  • Take ownership of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure supplier accounts are reconciled regularly.
  • Audit
  • Assist and coordinate statutory and CASS audits, maintaining effective relationships with audit firms and advisors.

Qualifications

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
  • 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in a financial control or similar role.
  • Experience in an FCA-regulated or financial services environment is desirable.
  • Exposure to start-up or high-growth businesses strongly preferred.
  • Technical accounting knowledge and hands-on experience with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong familiarity with finance systems.

We support our team with the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis, 3 days a week in our London office (Fitzrovia). 28 days annual leave plus.
