Fundment is a fast-growing wealth infrastructure company embarking on an exciting growth phase, looking to hire an Investment Operations Associate to join our growing team. Fundment is transforming the platform experience for advice firms and their clients. Our technology delivers efficiencies through market leading workflows for account opening, integrations with other tools and software systems, and by meeting adviser and client needs via a toolkit offering streamlined transfers, advisory portfolio management tools, a wide range of MPSs, custom indexing technology, and all the in-house wrappers they expect. This role sits at the core of our platform operations, supporting the day-to-day execution and oversight of investment activity across trading, corporate actions, and data management. You will play a key role in ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently, while supporting clients and internal teams with platform-related queries. This is a hands-on position with exposure to the full investment lifecycle within a modern wealth platform, offering strong opportunities to develop your technical knowledge and operational expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Trade & Transaction Management
- Review and validate trade files, investigating and resolving any exceptions or rejections
- Support the trade lifecycle, including corrections and issue resolution
- Ensure trade reporting files are accurate, complete, and delivered on time
- Corporate Actions & Income
- Manage corporate actions processing, including booking and client communications
- Reconcile dividends and excess reportable income (ERI)
- Support the delivery of accurate client tax reporting
- Client & Platform Support
- Act as a point of contact for client queries relating to trading and portfolio management
- Manage shared inboxes and ensure timely, high-quality responses
- Help clients understand platform processes and workflows
- Data & Reconciliations
- Maintain static data and support the onboarding of new investment products
- Assist with daily reconciliations, including support for CASS-related processes
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of investment data across the platform
- Regulatory & Client Remediation
- Investigate and resolve trade and operational errors, including performing financial impact calculations (gains/losses)
- Coordinate and support client remediation activities, ensuring clients are treated fairly
- Ensure all actions are completed in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Wider Operations Support
- Support internal transfers and other platform processes
- Collaborate with the wider operations team on process improvements and ad-hoc projects
3 years proven experience in investment operations, within a platform, custodian, or wealth manager. Strong understanding of trade lifecycles, settlements, and corporate actions. Experience handling trade errors, break resolution, and client remediation processes. Familiarity with reconciliations and regulatory frameworks (e.g. CASS). Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Collaborative and team-oriented, with a willingness to take ownership. Motivated to learn and develop within a growing fintech environment. Progress towards or completion of a relevant qualification (e.g. IOC or IMC). Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
