We are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner (known internally as Senior Commercial Finance Analyst) in our Commercial Finance team. This role sits in the Commercial Finance team who are responsible for financial planning and performance management across the business, collaborating with senior management to understand and model business drivers.

The role: As a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, you will be a key business partner, providing financial insight and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Your responsibilities will include:
- Business partnering - provide financial support and analysis to the stakeholders throughout the business. Develop a detailed understanding of how the business operates in order to support and challenge decision makers.
- FlexiPay product (balance sheet lending) - contribute to the development of financial models to project future loan issuance and profitability. Interpret and challenge outputs from the Risk team regarding expected loss forecasting.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights into business performance and key trends.
- Analyse financial data to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, profitability, and growth.
- Proactively problem solving, identifying and confidently mitigating any risks, issues or control weaknesses that arise in your day-to-day.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified or Part-Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Experience within the financial services industry, including IFRS 9 and other relevant financial principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
