We are looking for an Engineering Manager in our Product Engineering team. The role sits within our Loans Engineering Group, leading one of the teams responsible for the cutting-edge platform our customers use to apply for Funding Circle's class-leading term loan products.

- Funding Circle Advocate: Represent Funding Circle at industry events, actively contributing to brand growth and fostering strong community relationships.
- Strong Collaborator: Forge strong partnerships with business stakeholders, deeply understanding their needs and sharing ownership of successful outcomes.
- Knowledge Sharer: Serve as a mentor and educator, generously sharing your expertise to empower stakeholders and engineers to independently solve problems.
What we're looking for:
- Prior or current experience in either management or technical leadership (ideally with at least 1 year's experience in a management position).
- Track record of delivering mission-critical, high-value products and services, working towards these using agile methodologies and by taking a pragmatic approach to leadership and delivery.
- Good understanding and experience of how to make use of engineering performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Somebody who can embody Funding Circle's values, and is able to positively impact and lead a close team.
