Analytics Engineer / Data Quality Engineer
We’re looking for an Analytics Engineer / Data Quality Engineer to join our team and help shape our approach to Data Quality and work on the data foundations for high growth areas.
Responsibilities
- Build and own high-quality dbt models ensuring they are performant, well documented and thoroughly tested.
- Translate business logic into programmatic Data Quality Rules in partnership with product engineering and business teams.
- Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to understand their needs and build models that drive Data Quality, visibility, and measurability.
- Champion best practices for Data Quality and data testing across data engineering teams.
- Investigate Data Quality issues, perform root‑cause analysis and work with stakeholders.
- Architect custom AI solutions and smart automated systems that are safe, maintainable, and aligned with our long‑term mission.
Qualifications
- Strong SQL skills with experience writing efficient and well‑structured queries.
- Hands‑on experience with DBT, building and maintaining modular, scalable data models following best practices.
- Previous experience on Data Quality engagements.
- Strong understanding of dimensional modelling.
- Strong understanding of Data Quality and how it’s measured.
Desirable
- Experience writing complex validation logic using tools such as Great Expectations, dbt tests, Elementary, Soda, or Deequ.
- Familiarity with AWS data services (S3, Athena, Glue).
- Experience with data lakes or modern data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query).
- A pragmatic problem solver who balances technical excellence with business needs.
