Analytics Engineer / Data Quality Engineer

We’re looking for an Analytics Engineer / Data Quality Engineer to join our team and help shape our approach to Data Quality and work on the data foundations for high growth areas.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own high-quality dbt models ensuring they are performant, well documented and thoroughly tested.
  • Translate business logic into programmatic Data Quality Rules in partnership with product engineering and business teams.
  • Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to understand their needs and build models that drive Data Quality, visibility, and measurability.
  • Champion best practices for Data Quality and data testing across data engineering teams.
  • Investigate Data Quality issues, perform root‑cause analysis and work with stakeholders.
  • Architect custom AI solutions and smart automated systems that are safe, maintainable, and aligned with our long‑term mission.

Qualifications

  • Strong SQL skills with experience writing efficient and well‑structured queries.
  • Hands‑on experience with DBT, building and maintaining modular, scalable data models following best practices.
  • Previous experience on Data Quality engagements.
  • Strong understanding of dimensional modelling.
  • Strong understanding of Data Quality and how it’s measured.

Desirable

  • Experience writing complex validation logic using tools such as Great Expectations, dbt tests, Elementary, Soda, or Deequ.
  • Familiarity with AWS data services (S3, Athena, Glue).
  • Experience with data lakes or modern data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query).
  • A pragmatic problem solver who balances technical excellence with business needs.
