What the job involves:
- The Account Executive role is the first step in your career within Sales @ Funding Circle, starting with a tailored two-week Sales Induction Programme on joining.
- You will be given ongoing tools and support to thrive in your role and eventually progress into more senior roles such as Account Manager, Business Development Executive, or Sales Team Manager.
- The role is phone-based and the first point of contact with our Borrowers; speaking frequently with them during their Funding Circle journey.
- You will speak to a diverse range of SME business owners to understand their business, find out about their goals, and explain how Funding Circle can help achieve them.
- Working with warm leads to generate new opportunities through business development of existing Funding Circle borrowers (c.60-80 dials per day).
- Establishing instant rapport with customers via telephone & email to cultivate successful relationships.
- Pitching the Funding Circle proposition against alternative funding options available.
- Managing a high-volume, fast-paced pipeline; supporting clients through each stage of creating an application.
- Being responsible for your own monthly target and continuously developing & improving your approach to help you achieve it.
- Proactively problem-solving, identifying and confidently mitigating any risks, issues, or control weaknesses that arise in your day-to-day activities.
