We are looking for a Recoveries Account Executive in our Collections & Recoveries team. The team cultivates a supportive culture through specialised debt collection procedures, helping small businesses succeed.

Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of defaulted loan accounts, negotiating repayment arrangements to recover outstanding debt and achieve positive outcomes for Funding Circle's investors.
- Build trust and rapport with borrowers and guarantors to understand their financial situations and work with them to find sustainable repayment solutions.
- Demonstrate strong investigatory and analytical skills to achieve maximum recoveries in a costâeffective manner.
- Support focused campaigns and initiatives to drive performance and investor returns.
- Liaise with instructed third parties and professional advisors, including solicitors, debt managers and insolvency practitioners.
- Work closely with inâhouse Collections, Litigation & Business Support teams to service the interests of Funding Circle customers.
- Proactively problemâsolve, identify and mitigate risks, issues or control weaknesses in dayâtoâday operations.
- Proven experience in collections, recoveries, or credit control, with relevant skills and knowledge.
- Resultsâoriented and competitive: consistently achieving targets, SLAs and KPIs while striving for continuous improvement.
- Organised with great attention to detail and aptitude for using multiple systems concurrently.
- Ability to empathise with borrowers and commitment to solving issues through firstâclass customer service.
- Highly selfâmotivated and resourceful, with a track record of working independently and delivering effective solutions to complex problems.
