We are looking for a midweight marketing designer to join our in-house Brand team. We’re a small but mighty in-house design team responsible for how Funding Circle shows up across internal and external customer touchpoints, including the website, monthly marketing campaigns in email, direct mail, social and display, and sponsorship at stadiums across the country.

We’re seeking a rock star print and digital designer with experience delivering cross-channel campaigns across email and direct mail. This role suits a proactive, collaborative designer (ideally with in-house experience) who is confident using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma, and who can own and strategically drive campaign delivery in response to insights and performance.

The role: Anticipated 3 days per week (initial 12 month contract with possibility to extend), with two days in our central London office to become a real extension of the team.

  • Work with the Marketing Campaign Manager and in-house Creative team to deliver concepts and final artwork for impactful, response-driving campaigns that promote our financial products to small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Deliver attention-grabbing, on-brand assets for direct mail and email each month.
  • Own and strategically drive campaign creative, continually leveling up output.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing stakeholders, understanding channel needs and applying creative expertise and best-practice approaches to each campaign.
  • Proactively problem-solve, identify and mitigate risks, issues or control weaknesses in day-to-day work.
  • Support ad-hoc design requests, including presentation decks, documents and event collateral.

What we’re looking for: 3–5 years of design experience including print and digital. Comfortable designing in Figma (familiar with auto-layout and design system features). Basic animation skills (Jitter) are a bonus. Proven ability to design for performance marketing campaigns including direct mail (print) and email. Creative collaborator who can manage stakeholder feedback and work remotely via Slack and video calls, as well as in person. Experience in financial services is a bonus but not required.
