We are looking for a Marketing Copywriter to join our Brand team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and creative marketing copywriter who enjoys taking on a wide range of writing challenges. As part of the brand team you’ll touch on every part of the business, creating impactful copy for brand and product campaigns targeting small businesses, across many channels including email, web, digital, print, direct mail and even audio.

The role involves:

  • Writing copy for both product and brand campaigns, including our Premiership Rugby sponsorship.
  • Producing highly converting product copy and content for the website and cross-channel campaigns, working closely with the brand and design teams.
  • Content planning and production for organic social, and email newsletters to bring our brand content strategy to life.
  • Copywriting for our Premiership Rugby partnership, including campaign headlines, digital ads and above-the-line creative such as podcasts or radio scripts.
  • Helping teams across the business to deliver on-brand communications.
  • Supporting the brand team on campaigns, events and other projects to grow the brand.
  • Owning and evolving our brand Tone of Voice.
  • Proactively problem solving, identifying and confidently mitigating any risks, issues or control weaknesses that arise in your day-to-day.

You’ll need to be a self-starter, adept at working with a variety of stakeholders and taking and giving feedback to find the best outcomes for the business. You should have:

  • 3+ years experience in a copy focused role.
  • Experience writing marketing copy for email marketing, direct mail, social and blogs; experience writing for website conversion is a bonus.
  • Excellent writing skills shown in a portfolio of work.
  • Ability to follow brand guidelines and deliver tone of voice across all communications.
  • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders and incorporating feedback.
  • Experience writing for businesses (B2B marketing) or SMEs would be a bonus!
