We are looking for a Business Development Manager in our Broker Team. The Business Development Manager role is part of the award-winning Introducer Channel that provides a sales and account management function to our partnering Brokers in order to process and release submitted loan applications.

The role: As a Business Development Manager, you will be working closely with our current Brokers as a trusted advisor to understand their unique finance offerings and business needs, growing their lending with Funding Circle, and exceeding revenue goals in each Broker account.
- Actively develop Broker relationships to drive origination revenue
- Position Funding Circle value proposition so Broker can refer client base
- Managing Broker relationships
- Create business plans with Brokers collaboratively in order to grow revenue quarter on quarter
- Be a Funding Circle ambassador within the Broker community in defined region/panel
- Proactively problem solving, identifying and confidently mitigating any risks, issues or control weaknesses that arise in your day‑to‑day
What we’re looking for:
- Proven sales experience within the Lending/Broker space with a track record of exceeding sales quota/targets
- Self‑motivated to execute against clear objectives and revenue targets
- Knowledgeable of the commercial finance sector
- Passionate about Broker success – actively teaming internally across sales, marketing and funnel teams
- Able to build commercial relationships with Executives, Director and owner level personas
- Consultative with strong selling experience, presentation and communication skills
