Our SaaS platform connects organisations with sustainable profitable reuse solutions that cut waste and unlock new revenue streams. We’re expanding fast in the UK and looking for a Senior Account Executive who knows how to find deals, build a strong pipeline and close with confidence.

About the Role As our Senior Account Executive, you’ll run a full-cycle sales process focused on winning new business across construction, waste management, infrastructure, manufacturing, real estate and the public sector. This is a pure hunting role: prospecting, qualifying, pitching, negotiating and closing high-value deals. Your goal is simple and measurable: grow EME’s UK revenue and expand our customer base. You’ll work closely with the team in Amsterdam while operating with the autonomy of a fast-paced startup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Generation: source and develop new business through proactive outreach and industry research.
  • Full-Cycle Sales: own the sales process from first contact to close consistently hitting targets.
  • High-Value Deals: lead strong discovery, craft compelling proposals, negotiate effectively and close complex enterprise opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Management: build relationships with senior decision‑makers across construction firms, waste management companies, councils, airports and sustainability-focused organisations.
  • Market Expansion: spot new opportunities, understand sector trends and feed insights back to the team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with customer success, product and marketing to ensure smooth onboarding and long‑term success.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience selling into the construction and/or waste management sectors.
  • 5 years in a quota‑carrying sales role, ideally in SaaS sustainability, waste, construction or the circular economy.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding targets in mid‑market or enterprise sales.
  • Skilled communicator, negotiator and closer.
  • Familiarity with the UK sustainability and circular economy landscape is a plus.
  • Comfortable with UK travel and occasional trips to Amsterdam.
  • Competitive, proactive and driven to win.

Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, environmental studies or a related field. Industry experience in SaaS sustainability, circular economy, waste, construction. Startup / scale‑up experience valued.
