Are you passionate about working with young children and building meaningful relationships? We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic unqualified early childhood teacher to join our nursery team for between 30-35 hours per week. We are a small, privately owned preschool with a maximum of 40 children across the centre. Our size allows us to create strong, genuine relationships with our tamariki, whÄnau, and each other. We pride ourselves on being a close-knit, supportive team.
Our nursery offers a nurturing environment with a 2:5 teacherâtoâbaby ratio each day, ensuring attentive, responsive care for our pÄpi. We are led by an ECEâqualified owner who is a strong advocate for early childhood teachers in New Zealand, fostering a culture that values and supports its kaiako.
About the role: You will work alongside experienced teachers to support the care and development of our babies. This includes engaging in play, building trusting relationships, and contributing to a calm, loving environment.
