The Role
As a Pastry Demi Chef de Partie, you will support the Pastry Chef de Partie and Head Pastry Chef in delivering beautifully crafted desserts and pastries that complement each restaurant’s distinctive concept. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality pastry dishes in line with brand standards
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail across all pastry items
- Support mise en place and service while maintaining exceptional quality under pressure
- Follow all hygiene, food safety, and company procedures
- Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service
- Support senior chefs with training junior team members where required
About You
- Previous experience as a Pastry Demi Chef de Partie or strong Commis Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel
- Solid technical foundation in pastry, baking, and dessert preparation
- A keen eye for detail, flavour balance, and presentation
- Eager to learn, develop, and grow within a professional kitchen environment
- Calm, organised, and able to perform well under pressure
