We're recruiting a Solution Architect to design and deliver end‑to‑end technology solutions as part of a large‑scale digital transformation programme. This role suits an experienced architect who enjoys owning solution design from requirements through to delivery, working closely with stakeholders, engineering teams and delivery partners.
Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end solution architecture across cloud, integration, data, security and operations
- Design scalable, secure and cost‑effective Azure‑based solutions
- Produce high‑quality architecture artefacts including HLDs, LLDs, NFRs, options papers and diagrams
- Define and govern integration patterns (APIs, microservices, event‑driven architectures)
- Guide delivery teams through build, PoCs and technical spikes
- Support architecture assurance, design reviews and governance forums
- Champion performance, resilience, security and cost optimisation
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect / Cloud Architect / Technical Architect
- Strong Microsoft Azure architecture experience
- Hands‑on knowledge of APIs, microservices and modern integration patterns
- Data architecture exposure (e.g. Power BI, Fabric, Synapse, analytics platforms)
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and containers
- Strong understanding of security architecture (IAM, RBAC, encryption, GDPR)
- Confident stakeholder engagement across technical and non‑technical audiences
Nice to have
- Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
- Experience in enterprise or complex business environments
