Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 5am to 1.30pm (plus potential overtime depending on traffic)

The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering, assembling, and installing white goods, furnishings, and other inventory to residential properties. You will start and finish your day at the Swindon Logistics site, with travel to locations across South East England and South Wales. You will be provided with a daily job sheet, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. As the face of the company, you will be in regular contact with Housing Officers and, occasionally, Service Users—so maintaining a professional image is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver, assemble, and install goods in line with company procedures.
  • Ensure properties are left safe, clean, and tidy after completing installations.
  • Report safety hazards or concerns within the property to the Team Leader.
  • Liaise with Housing Officers to ensure timely deliveries and installations.
  • Collaborate with team members and attend meetings as required.
  • Maintain clear communication through emails, calls, and messages.
  • Accurately complete job records in accordance with company policies.

Required Skills:

  • A Full, valid UK driving licence.
  • Ability to drive long distances safely and navigate various routes.
  • Proficiency in installing and assembling white goods, furnishings, and inventory.
  • Knowledge of basic hand tools and installation equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, with a focus on completing tasks efficiently and on time.
  • A team player who can also take initiative and work independently.
