Our client is a leading global provider in the print and packaging sector, delivering innovative and sustainable solutions. With a strong commitment to excellence, safety, and environmental responsibility, they are expanding their HR team to better support growing operations and diverse workforce.

Position Summary

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a proactive, experienced HR Manager to support the UK head office and multiple European sites. This role requires both strategic HR leadership and a hands-on approach to people management, policy implementation, and organisational development. The successful candidate will spend approximately 70% of their time at the Sittingbourne office and 30% travelling across European sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted HR advisor to UK and European site managers, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and talent development
  • Implement and maintain HR policies and procedures across the group, ensuring consistency and legal compliance in all jurisdictions
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, engagement, and exit processes
  • Collaborate with senior management on organisational development, workforce planning, and succession planning
  • Lead or contribute to pan-European HR projects and policy standardisation initiatives
  • Travel to sites across Europe to provide on-the-ground HR support and conduct HR audits
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws across relevant countries
  • Provide reporting and insights to leadership on key HR metrics

Required Experience & Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR business partner role, preferably in a manufacturing, logistics, or industrial setting
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law; familiarity with European HR practices is an advantage
  • Experience working in a multi-site or international organisation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
  • Willingness and ability to travel across Europe
  • CIPD Level 5 or above
