We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Management Systems Auditor to join our growing ISO consultancy team. The successful candidate will conduct internal audits on behalf of our clients across one or more of the following management system disciplines:

  • Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001)
  • Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001)
  • Health & Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001)
  • Information Security Management Systems (ISO 27001)

The role involves working with a wide range of clients across different sectors, assessing compliance with management system standards, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting organisations in maintaining effective and compliant management systems. Candidates do not need experience in all disciplines but should have practical experience working within, implementing, maintaining, or supporting at least one of the above management systems. Flexible working is negotiable with the ability to work within the office, home working, and at client sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, conduct, and report internal audits at client sites and remotely against relevant ISO standards and client management systems.
  • Assess compliance with management system requirements, identifying non-conformities, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Produce clear, accurate, and professional audit reports.
  • Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions and continual improvement activities.
  • Build positive working relationships with clients and act as a trusted representative of the business.
  • Communicate audit findings confidently and professionally to employees and management at all levels.
  • Support clients in understanding audit findings and management system requirements.
  • Maintain accurate audit records and documentation.
  • Keep up to date with relevant ISO standards, legislation, and industry best practice.
  • Travel to client locations as required.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Experience working within, implementing, maintaining, or supporting at least one of the following:
    • ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
    • ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
    • ISO 45001 Health & Safety Management Systems
    • ISO 27001 Information Security Management Systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with people at all levels of an organisation.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.

Desirable

  • Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor qualification in one or more ISO standards.
  • Previous auditing experience.
  • Experience working within an ISO consultancy, certification body, or compliance-focused environment.
  • Knowledge of multiple ISO management system standards.
  • Understanding of risk management and continual improvement methodologies.
