We are seeking an experienced and driven Executive Chef / Head Chef to lead and oversee our kitchen. This is a senior, hands-on role requiring proven leadership, strong commercial awareness, and a consistent track record of longevity in previous positions.
The Role
- Oversee kitchen operations ensuring consistency and quality at all times.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Chefs and kitchen teams.
- Full responsibility for stock control, ordering, wastage management, and GP control.
- Menu development and implementation, including costings and margin management.
- Maintain all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.
- Manage staffing levels, rotas, and training to meet business needs.
- Work proactively to improve systems, procedures, and operational efficiency.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef.
- Demonstrable longevity in previous roles (this is essential).
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of stock control, food costs, and supplier management.
