Fulwell is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive People Operations Advisor to join our team. This role is at the heart of ensuring a smooth employee experience and plays a key part in driving operational efficiency across the People function. The People Operations Advisor will manage core processes and act as a trusted partner to managers and employees. Key Responsibilities- Partner with the VP, People Operations to implement strategic initiatives for continuous improvement across the People Operations function.
- Drive enhancements in our systems and processes to streamline the employee lifecycle and improve the employee experience.
- Produce HR data and insights, including headcount, turnover, absence, and DEI reports, to inform decision making at a higher level.
- Support the planning, delivery, and tracking of training and development initiatives, including reporting on participation and outcomes.
- Support the end-to-end recruitment process, using the Pinpoint (our ATS), partnering with hiring managers to deliver an excellent candidate experience.
- Lead onboarding and induction for new hires, ensuring a smooth, engaging, and compliant experience.
- Partner with the Payroll Manager to deliver accurate monthly payroll and benefits administration.
- Ensure all employee changes (salary, benefits, contract extensions etc.) are in HiBob HRIS for correct and timely processing.
- Manage freelancer onboarding and ensure compliance with IR35 legislation.
- Maintain accurate employee records in line with GDPR and employment law requirements.
- Support managers with lifecycle processes such as probation, performance reviews, family leave, sickness absence, and offboarding with emotional intelligence.
- Maintain and optimise all people systems (HiBob, Pinpoint etc.).
- 2+ years’ experience in a People Operations or HR Advisor role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Background in the Film & TV Entertainment space preferred, but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law, including employee relations, IR35, and freelancer compliance.
- Experience working closely with payroll and benefits processes.
- Confident user of HRIS and ATS platforms (HiBob and Pinpoint desirable).
- Analytical mindset with proven ability to produce and interpret HR data and reports.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and a self-starter attitude.
- Strong proficiency with Excel.
- Must be flexible and willing to take on any additional tasks as needed.
- Must have a positive attitude and be willing to learn new things.
