We are seeking a freelance Production Coordinator (Music Documentary) to start ASAP. Full time until October with possible extension part time through to Summer 2027. Based in London.
Key Responsibilities- The Production Coordinator (Music Documentary) will support the Production Manager with the day to day coordination of crew bookings, logistics, and production operations across the project.
- Help ensure all production activity runs efficiently and on schedule throughout production and post production.
- Organising and booking suppliers, coordinating crew and runner hires, managing travel and production logistics, supporting sustainability initiatives, and maintaining clear communication across all production departments throughout the project.
- Strong organisational skills with experience coordinating schedules, logistics, travel, and production documentation across multiple workstreams.
- Excellent communication skills when liaising with crew, suppliers, contributors, rights holders, and internal production teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment.
- Experience coordinating crew bookings, travel logistics, supplier management, and production paperwork for documentary, factual, or premium content productions.
- Proactive and solutions-focused approach with the ability to anticipate production requirements and respond quickly to changing priorities.
- Understanding of archive and music clearance processes would be advantageous.
- Confident using production management systems, budgeting tools, and Google Workspace.
