Fulton Hogan is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support operational projects from conception to completion within the Infrastructure Services business. This position is based in Welshpool and reports to the Project Delivery Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities and ensure implementation of Systems of Work via SWMS, special processes and corrective actions.
- Ensure projects are adequately resourced taking into account complexity, client requirements and budget constraints.
- Recommend/approve award of subcontract packages, ensuring best value through appropriate scoping, commercial conditions and subcontractor selection.
- Review and analyse project programs, assess performance against contract program, forecast and implement mitigation measures.
- Ensure application of EBAs and site compliance.
- Maintain positive client and stakeholder relationships, demonstrating initiative and problem‑solving.
- Manage civil infrastructure projects, meeting contractual obligations, cost control, and reviewing monthly forecasts.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Proven experience in road surfacing industry, including asphalt paving and delivery.
- Experience managing civil infrastructure projects with contractual obligations and cost control.
- Knowledge of MRWA specifications is preferred.
- Strong commercial and analytical capabilities.
Location: Welshpool, WLS, GB. The role will operate on a DIDO roster with regular travel and overnight stays.
