We are looking for an experienced Class 5 Truck Driver to join our hardworking and friendly team based in Christchurch!
About the role
In this role, you’ll see yourself as an all-rounder, carrying out transport duties around Christchurch and the wider region. You will be working alongside an experienced and supportive team in an environment that is both rewarding and enjoyable.
Key responsibilities
- Drive and operate trucks and machinery in a safe and professional manner
- Maintain trucks and equipment in a presentable condition and monitor truck maintenance
- Ensure trucks and equipment comply with all transport regulations (e.g. current RUC, COF, Registration, HPMV compliance)
We’re looking for someone with
- Class 5 Drivers Licence with WTR endorsements
- Flexibility in working hours and work away from home as and when required
- Previous experience in the construction industry is preferable, including bulk tipping
- Flexibility to perform various daily tasks and grow with the team
- A proactive approach to Health and Safety - it’s our #1 priority
- Basic skills in electronic dispatch systems for drivers
- A great work ethic and a positive attitude
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliability and excellent time management skills
