We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join our Traffic Management Team in Christchurch! In this role you will lead the operational team in managing the safety, quality and efficiency of our traffic management operations across Canterbury.

Key responsibilities

  • Overseeing the daily operational activities for all temporary traffic management in the Canterbury region.
  • Financial performance and reporting.
  • The overall safety & quality performance of our TTM team.
  • Training and development of staff.
  • Meeting business objectives for growth and performance.
  • Managing client relationships.
  • Leading a team of 40 plus staff.

We’re looking for someone with

  • Significant experience in the Traffic Management industry.
  • A strong focus on safety, quality and the environment.
  • Previous experience managing large business units.
  • Working knowledge of CoPTTM and NZGTTM.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive leadership style.
  • The ability to lead teams to achieve business objectives and build a positive working culture.
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to engage and connect with people at all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience in Traffic Management will be an advantage.
