Quarries Divisional Manager in Christchurch

Due to an internal promotion we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated senior leader to join our Canterbury Quarries team as a Divisional Manager. Alongside a team of experienced individuals, you’ll play a significant role in contributing to the region's overall integrated supply chain which is fundamental to Fulton Hogan’s business success.

Mō te tūranga | About the role

As the Quarries Divisional Manager, you will be responsible for successfully leading all quarry and mobile crushing operations across the Canterbury region. You will have a focus on achieving operational excellence through efficiencies and innovation, while also providing technical expertise to ensure the long-term success of the division. Reporting to the Supply Chain Executive Divisional Manager, you will be an integral part of the senior leadership team.

• Develop strategic annual business plans that align with Fulton Hogan's group and regional strategy.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and other key stakeholders.
• Ensure all operations are delivered to our customers, safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standard.
• Collaborate with key personnel to ensure development opportunities and succession planning across the division.

• Relevant tertiary qualification or significant industry experience.
• Advanced technical knowledge of quarry operations.
• Demonstrated leadership capability with a strong focus on people, safety and quality.
• Significant experience in effective stakeholder management and business development.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and procedures.
• Strong financial and business acumen.
• Demonstrated experience managing and enhancing profit streams.
• A reliable and self-driven nature to ensure continued success in your role.
