The post holder has responsibility for the provision of a professional, comprehensive and efficient administrative service, to support the delivery of high-quality clinical services under the supervision of the Pre-assessment manager.
Main duties:
- Provide admin support for the team members, including anaesthetists and nursing team.
- Process information appropriately resulting from outpatient and inpatient episodes within agreed time limits.
- Manage incoming emails, mail and telephone queries from patients and staff.
- Coordinate patient flow from Pre-assessment, to high risk, critical care and surgery.
- Book patients into the high risk anaesthetic clinic and manage their outcomes.
