Position: Yard Man / Saw Operative
Location: Essex, SS8 0SF
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £12.71 to £13.00 an hour (overtime paid at 1.1/3 x Monday to Friday, 1 ½ on Saturday)

Fullmen Ltd was founded in 1986. We started life as precision engineering press tool makers and special purpose machine manufacturing and for the past 33 years have been manufacturing a wide range of overhead line equipment that is used throughout the railway industry.
Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and dedicated Yard Person & Saw operative. This hands‑on role is ideal for someone eager to contribute to the smooth operation of our yard and workshops, especially for a counter‑balance forklift driver looking for a stable and secure role with the potential to increase earnings through overtime.
Duties
- Operating a forklift
- Loading and unloading materials
- Adhering to health and safety procedures and policies
- Ensuring the yard is clean and tidy
- Relocating stock in the yard
- Cutting materials on our saws
- Performing outside work tasks as required
Skills and Qualifications
- Counter‑balance forklift licence
- Experience in grinding and finishing metal components
- Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations
- Competence in using hand tools safely and effectively
