The Role

This role is vital to the success of our venue, where it is central to delivering an outstanding quality food experience for all our guests. This is a beautiful country venue where events and weddings are key to our business success. This role will lead our food offering and kitchen team, continually developing our offering and supporting our ambition of Coed-y-Mwstwr being a destination of choice for our customers. Although initially, this is an interim role, it is highly likely this will move into a more permanent role supporting our food and kitchen offering across the group.

What does a Head Chef role look like:

Kitchen Maestro: You will be passionate and help us deliver and create exceptional food experiences by bringing new ideas to help us improve and work collaboratively with our Food & Beverage Manager to deliver an exceptional guest journey and experience.

Team Player: You will be a vital part of the team and contribute to the creation and execution of exceptional food for our guests. Teamwork plays an important role in our success and helps us achieve our goal of making everyday experiences special.

Leadership: You will support the general manager in leading the daily operations of our kitchen team. You will lead by example and inspire the team to deliver exceptional quality food, including events, restaurants, and room service.

What We Are Looking For:

Passion: You will naturally be enthusiastic about creating positive guest experiences and cherished moments.

Team Champion: You can work well within a passionate team and mentor and supervise the team.

Development: As Head Chef, you will desire to be your best and inspire the rest of the kitchen team to be their best. You continue to learn and encourage the same from your team.

Organisation: You will have strong organisational skills to manage and organise the kitchen.
