Learning & Development Trainer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Trainer to join our Talent & Development team at Fuller’s.

This field-based role plays a key part in supporting our pubs and hotels by delivering engaging learning experiences that develop capability, strengthen performance and bring our service culture to life.

Working closely with operational leaders, you will support investment and refurbishment projects, deliver impactful training programmes, coach managers and teams, and help colleagues develop the skills, confidence and behaviours needed to create exceptional customer experiences.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support training and capability building during pub and hotel investment, refurbishment and reopening projects.
  • Deliver engaging face‑to‑face workshops, team training sessions and development programmes across the Fuller’s estate.
  • Coach managers and team members to improve performance, capability, engagement and customer experience.
  • Facilitate core Learning & Development programmes and support the delivery of key business initiatives.
  • Drive engagement with our digital learning platform, Attensi, encouraging colleagues to make the most of their learning opportunities.
  • Work closely with operational leaders to identify learning needs and deliver practical development solutions.
  • Act as an ambassador for our \"Be the Difference\" service culture, embedding our values and standards across the business.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels to support continuous learning and development.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience delivering training, workshops or development programmes within an operational environment.
  • Experience coaching managers and teams to improve capability, performance and engagement.
  • A genuine passion for developing people, with the ability to engage, inspire, build confidence and create excitement for learning.
  • Strong operational credibility, ideally gained within hospitality, retail, leisure or another multi‑site customer‑facing business.
  • Experience supporting new openings, refurbishment projects or operational change programmes would be advantageous.
  • Experience delivering leadership, service or behavioural skills training would be beneficial.
  • Experience using learning technology and digital learning platforms, such as Attensi, would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • High levels of energy, enthusiasm and personal impact, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as regular travel across the Fuller’s estate is a key requirement of the role.
