We have an exciting opportunity for a creative Executive Development Chef to join our Food & Drink team at Fullers. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your culinary passion and innovative thinking to a role where you will help shape the future of food across our pubs and hotels. You will report to the Head of Food and work closely with our Executive Chef team, Food Marketing, and Operations teams to create dishes that are exciting, operationally smart, and commercially successful. Based in our development kitchen in Reading, the role will also involve travel to our pubs and sites, so flexibility is key.
What The Role Involves:
- Developing high-quality, creative dishes that meet briefs and align with our food calendar
- Building and managing recipes in StarChef, ensuring cost and allergen compliance
- Working on event and menu concepts with Food Marketing and Operations
- Reviewing and improving existing dishes where needed
- Supporting the training and launch of new menus across the estate
- Staying ahead of food trends and visiting competitors for inspiration
- Encouraging a culture of creativity and continuous improvement
What We Are Looking For:
- Development chef experience, plus operational kitchen experience in a multi-site hospitality business
- A strong dish portfolio and understanding of the full menu development process
- Advanced Food Hygiene and strong knowledge of food safety legislation
- A full UK driving licence
- A team player with great communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Passion, creativity, attention to detail, and strong commercial awareness
