Baraset Barn will provide an unforgettable dining experience. Granite, pewter and oak are used to dramatic effect within the restaurant, which comfortably seats around 100 people. The original flagstones remind diners of the barn's 200-year history, while the on-view glass-fronted kitchen adds state of the art restaurant practices and visual appeal. Upstairs at our venue, two separate dining areas await, ideal for private business functions or family gatherings. Our restaurant offers extensive decking for alfresco dining. About the programme: A Commis Chef Apprenticeship at Lovely Pubs is ideal for school leavers, career changers, or anyone looking to get the best start to a chef career. You'll receive training in all aspects of food preparation whilst gaining an insight into some of the liveliest kitchens across the South of England. Working in a Lovely Pubs Kitchen is exciting and challenging, but with a full team to support and mentor you, you'll develop a rich understanding of food and a passion for our fresh, seasonal and local produce. You will study 1 day per week at one of our college partners and receive world-class training while being paid. When you're not at college you will work 4 days a week in one of our selected restaurants or hotels while being mentored by one of our Head Chefs.
