FLSmidth Cement, now extended as Fuller, has a long history of supporting producers worldwide with pioneering technologies and sustainable solutions. We are looking for an experienced Assembly Welder to work the second shift. This role focuses on welding to repair and maintain equipment, structures, and fixtures.
Responsibilities
- Requires Coded Welder Accredited certificate or equivalent
- Supports the fabrication or construction team in the planning and execution of welding in plant or workshop
- Carries out routine and non-routine welding and cutting work using various welding techniques to cut, brace and weld structures, pipes and boilers
- Develops, supervises and tests welding techniques, procedures, and application of welding equipment
- Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities

- Excellent coordination and mechanical skills
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in math
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- Experience working with machine tools or welding assembly

- Apprenticeship or vocational training preferred
