The Ship Inn has built its trade on reputation and offering compelling reasons to visit, attracting a wide range of guests throughout the week. It is also supported by one of the biggest calendar events for Fuller’s.
The successful candidate will need to balance a focus on high-volume, fresh food with consistent quality. They will have strong organisational, leadership and communication skills, and be able to build strong working relationships with the senior team to plan menus for a range of different events and bookings, including:
- Weddings – The Ship Inn Langstone has a full wedding licence
- Fireworks / Raft race – Large free public events
- Private dining – Tasting evenings / themed nights
- Associated food for sporting events – Premium Sports TNT / World Cup large screen fan zone
- Wakes
Refreshing the menu and specials throughout the year, with a coastal and seasonal focus. The culture at The Ship is built around a strong ethos of working together. Both the front-of-house and back-of-house teams understand the 'one team' mentality and the benefits it brings to everyone. The Ship stays busy throughout the year, supported by a Sales and Events Manager, and its location and reputation. Food service times are from 10:00-21:00 daily, including breakfast, and until 22:00 on weekends.
