As part of continuous growth, we’re expanding our portfolio of Enercon turbines throughout Scotland. This means we are looking for two skilled Enercon Wind Turbine Technicians who are passionate about keeping things spinning smoothly. If you’ve got a knack for troubleshooting and love the challenge of working with Enercon turbines, this might be the perfect role for you! You will also have the opportunity to learn new skills and work with other technologies as our portfolio grows. This role may take you on the road across Scotland, giving you the chance to explore its beautiful sights and meet new people along the way.

What You’ll Be Whirling Through:

  • Bring your Enercon expertise to the team! You’ll mentor and train others, helping new technicians hit the ground running on-site while providing hands-on support whenever needed.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: You’ll be the key to keeping our Enercon turbines in top shape. From scheduled maintenance to those unexpected call-outs, you’ll tackle it all. Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues will be your bread and butter, as will conducting thorough inspections and replacing components as needed. With each visit, you’ll log every detail keeping service reports and turbine performance records up to date is just as important as turning those wrenches. Safety always comes first, and you’ll ensure every task meets industry standards.
  • Keeping our customers in the loop: You’ll be the point of contact for our customers on-site, keeping them informed and reassured throughout every step of the maintenance process. Your updates help us build trust while keeping the turbines turning.
  • Safety & Quality: Your North Star You’ll stick to safety protocols, no concessions allowed, spotting potential hazards and addressing them before they become an issue. You’ll also make sure that every component of the wind turbine big or small meets our high standards for quality and reliability. It’s up to you to ensure the safe and efficient operation of both electrical and mechanical components.
  • Catch the Breeze of Improvement: You won’t just maintain our fleet you’ll help us make it better. Working with engineering and operational teams, you’ll look for ways to boost turbine performance and efficiency. Using error and gap analysis, response times, and operational data, you’ll keep things running as smoothly as a perfect gust of wind. Occasionally, you’ll also work with the control room, remotely monitoring turbines all over the world because our reach goes far beyond the horizon.

What You’ll Need in Your Toolkit:

  • Experience: 3+ years working with Enercon turbines or similar models; you can either be a CT or an AT
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Readiness: Comfortable working in challenging conditions like heights and varying weather.
  • License: A valid driver’s license to help you get where the wind takes you.
  • Safety Savvy: A deep understanding of safety regulations and industry standards.
