This role ensures that wind turbine technicians are fully equipped with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely and efficiently operate, maintain, and troubleshoot wind turbines across multiple platforms.
What You’ll Be Handling Day-to-Day:
- Develop, deliver, and continuously improve general technical training programs such as electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic theory and skills (basic to intermediate level) relevant to wind turbine operations.
- Facilitate and deliver type specific technical training both in the classroom and in the field for EWT Wind Turbines.
- Develop and maintain a Practical Training Centre, ensuring training equipment and materials remain fit for purpose.
- Maintain and update training records and competency matrices as required.
- Support Engineering with the development and review of procedures, instructions, and manuals.
Job Requirements:
- Strong depth of knowledge in electrical systems used in wind turbines (LV/MV, control systems, fault finding).
- Ability to travel regularly as required by training demands.
Desirable Skills:
- Hands-on experience with EWT platforms.
- Previous experience as a Wind Turbine Service Technician.
- Previous experience in a technical training or mentoring role.
- Train the Trainer qualification.
- Background in developing structured training materials or competency frameworks.

- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to deliver training confidently using a variety of mediums (in-person, MS Teams, blended learning).
- Strong organizational skills to coordinate training around operational requirements.
