At Full Circle Wind Services, we keep wind turbines turning across the UK and Europe. We are hiring an Electrical Engineer to support our Operations team.
What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll work closely with the engineering team to maintain and support our turbine fleet, ensuring safe and reliable operation through troubleshooting, analysis, and improvements.
- Develop electrical standards within the organisation.
- Dive into recurring issues, analyse performance data, prepare reports and root‑cause analyses, and design modifications that prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with training and control‑room teams to improve electrical training programmes.
- Support new sites and customers, coordinating parts procurement and walk‑down inspections.
- Respond to customer inquiries and support field projects via the control room.
What you bring:
- We’re looking for a proactive team‑player comfortable in an international setting, fluent in English, with strong analytical and hands‑on troubleshooting skills.
- Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- At least five years of experience in an electrical engineering role.
- Ability to pass required medical and fitness tests.
- Experience developing system modifications and selecting replacement components due to obsolescence.
- Experience using CAD software.
Bonus points if you also bring:
- Experience with wind turbine electrical and control systems.
- Experience in PLC programming, including Bachmann and Phoenix Contact.
- HV awareness / AP or SAP qualifications.
- Knowledge of SCADA systems.
