An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen at a beautifully positioned boutique hotel following significant investment and the launch of a newly refurbished kitchen. Set in a stunning rural location, this role offers the chance to take ownership of a quality-led food operation within a gorgeous destination property. Due to the location, candidates will need to drive.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all aspects of the kitchen, driving standards, developing seasonal menus and delivering a strong fresh-food offering that reflects the property's high standards and reputation. This role would suit a creative and commercially minded Head Chef with previous hotel experience and a strong background within rosette-level kitchens, who is looking for autonomy and the opportunity to shape an exciting food offering.

Key responsibilities:
  • Leading and managing all day-to-day kitchen operations
  • Designing and developing fresh, seasonal menus
  • Maintaining consistently high standards of presentation and execution
  • Managing food GP, stock control and ordering
  • Training, mentoring and developing the kitchen brigade
  • Ensuring compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Working closely with senior management to drive the food offering forward
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Previous experience as Head Chef or strong Senior Sous ready to step up
  • Proven background within quality hotel kitchens
  • Rosette experience essential
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of kitchen financials
  • Passion for seasonal produce and refined dining
