We are looking for an experienced and personable Senior Resident Liaison Officer to join our dynamic and driven construction consultancy on a fixed term basis. What does the role involve? As a Senior Resident Liaison Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing relationships between the client and its residents. This position typically involves a mix of administrative, customer service, and supporting other RLO’s.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for residents, ensuring clear, consistent communication and timely resolution of enquiries and concerns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents through regular engagement, one-to-one meetings, newsletters, emails, and letters.
- Support residents through decanting, move-ins and move-outs, working closely with the Relocation Manager and project team.
- Collaborate with the RLO Manager, project managers and contractors to manage resident issues and minimise disruption during works.
- Monitor, record and report on resident feedback, risks, complaints, and programme progress, escalating issues where necessary.
- Assist in resolving disputes and construction-related issues, ensuring a positive resident experience throughout the programme.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and review of the resident engagement strategy.
- Maintain accurate resident records, including contact details, leases, and communication history.
- Support and mentor less experienced Resident Liaison Officers as required.
- Work flexibly between office and construction site environments, attending meetings on site or remotely as needed.
- Always take personal responsibility for the health and safety of self and others by working within the Health and Safety policy and procedures.
- Endeavour to improve our social and environmental impact.
- Any other duties as reasonably required of my role.
Qualifications
- Experience of consulting and maximising engagement with residents.
- Management of large-scale decanting programmes.
- Planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent Computer skills in Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to work flexibly with limited supervision.
- Communication skills to support interaction through a wide range of sources with a diverse range of customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
- Supporting junior members of the team.
- Ability to effectively communicate with senior managers.
- The ability to plan and execute projects effectively, meeting deadlines and objectives.
